Taking my lockdown look to the next level with Femme Luxe Finery...

When lockdown began in March the weather wasn’t nearly as lovely as it is now. It was grey and a little bit cold, so I quickly turned to my existing rotation of work-out gear and tracksuit bottoms – which have all seen better days in my opinion. So, when Femme Luxe Finery got in touch with me to take a look at their loungewear collection, I was over the moon!

I’ve never actually ordered anything from this brand before and I wasn’t sure about sizing or anything to be honest, but other bloggers have raved about them and advised that they’re affordable and good quality – which is a win-win if you ask me. First thing’s first, I headed straight to their loungewear set category, as I’ve wanted to try a co-ord set for a long time but wasn’t sure if was really me. Femme Luxe Finery has a vast selection of sets ranging from cropped jumpers, joggers, shorts, and tee sets all in a range of different colours – think on-trend muted tones and pastels (which I adore). Unfortunately, they’d actually sold out of the set I really wanted so I headed to individual category pages.

My first pick was a no-brainer. It was these cottons stretch jersey joggers in a really cute nude/light pink shade. I love the oversize fit of them, and the colour is just lovely. In this pic I teamed it with a long-sleeved top and trainers for a little ‘lockdown’ walk. So comfy and the quality of the fabric is really good too.

I then chose this cropped fleece in like a duck egg blue, which won’t match the joggers, but I can mix-and-match with other pieces I already own. It’s so, so soft and I love the funnel neck zip collar and the way you can crop it or make it a bit longer. In this pick I teamed with some bottoms I already own.

For my third and final choice, I selected these lightweight shorts in tan. I’ve been after a pair like these for a while and I thought they’d especially be great as soon as the weather turns – which luckily it has now. I haven’t managed to shoot these yet, but they do feature in my IGTV.

Overall, I’m really pleased with each piece the brand sent me and I will keep them in mind for styling call-ins and casual basics I need. If you need a hand sorting your style during this very odd time, do let me know as I’m offering virtual styling sessions and individual styling packs.
