3 Ways to Wear Statement Earrings

For those of you that have followed me for a while, know that I have a penchant for earrings. Whether they’re statement earrings, or small huggies to just accent the ear – I’m hear for it. I think jewellery can change up a look immeasurably, especially if you’re looking to create an outfit that works from am-to-pm, or you want an outfit that’s a bit elevated but not too dressy.

So, when I discovered sustainable earring brand Trend Tonic, I was super excited. Not only are their earrings super wearable and stylish, they have an ethical element which I’m 100% on board with, and they use PeTA approved vegan cork leather – how great is that?! Trend Tonic, kindly sent me a few pairs of earrings to style up, as I selected the huggies and studs so I can wear in different ear lobe holes, I’ve decided to lift some other fabulous earrings from their site and style them up.

Cosy Sundays

With a little help from & Other Stories, I've created this simple yet effective look which I think is perfect for cosy Sundays, albeit a little bit elevated. I have chosen the Trend Tonic Cheetah earrings as I love animal print teamed with lilac - such a great combination! For this look, wear your hair in a low messy bun and let the earrings do all the talking.

Smart Casual Weekends

Smart Casual has to be the hardest attire to get right. Like what is smart casual? For me, smart casual means a combination of more put together pieces mixed with casual accents. So this look features a shirt dress (which is quite structured), teamed with some addidas trainers (more casual) and then finished with Trend Tonic Leaf earrings in Zebra. I love this look, it's perfect for a shopping trip with friends, date day, or just a day wear you have loads of bits and bobs to do.

Flirty and Feminine

For my third and final look, I have opted for fun, flirty and feminine - which means a floral dress! This look is great if you have a party to go to and want to dress up a little bit. The earrings I have selected for this particular outfit is the Trend Tonic Hug Me Circle earrings which are subtle, huggy style earrings which look really pretty and feminine against a dress. They come in a variety of different colours - I've worn mine loads already.
