Leopard Print is a Neutral. FACT.

I love leopard print. If you follow me on Social Media you'd have noticed how much I LOVE leopard print. It's been my go-to print for as long as I can remember, and as the years roll on by, my love (and the world's love) for leopard print hasn't wavered, not one bit. My obsession started off small, I got some leopard print ballet pumps from Mango many moons ago and I was surprised with how much they went with everything in my wardrobe! Next up was leopard harem pants from Zara, I wore these in the summer of 2013 with a simple white tee and flip flops. Fast forward to 2018 and I have a faux fur leopard print jacket, blouse, dress, trousers, boots and tee - oh and now a leopard print phone cover from the lovely folks over at CaseApp.

So why exactly is leopard print classed as a neutral now?

I think it's due to the colour palette of the print, the browns, blacks and whites are all neutral shades and go with pretty much everything and the pattern isn't too in your face believe it or not!

What colours can be worn with leopard print?

Red goes really lovely with leopard print and most block colours in general do. For autumn, I would try wearing it with mustard, burnt orange or tomato red. For summer, why not team with white, neons, or a lighter yellow?

Where should you start?

If you're not 100% sure about leopard print, I would ease yourself in gently. Maybe go for an accessory to start with. Ballet pumps or leopard print trainers are a great addition to any outfit - or even a small leopard print handbag.

What other animal prints would you wear?

I love snakeskin, zebra print and even cheetah! But my one true love has to be leopard....
